Top Ten Keys for a Successful Representative

Being a financial services agent is a calling for special people who believe in themselves and the services they provide. In order for agents to have a profitable, sustainable, and satisfying practice, these ten keys are essential.

  1. Trust Yourself and Believe in your value to your clients.
    You become irresistibly attractive when this is true.
  2. Get your Needs Met.
    When you are needy, it does not attract abundance or clients. Complete the needless program with your coach.
  3. Have a mission.
    A mission statement for the whole of your life inspires you to live your life on purpose everyday.
  4. Have a Reserve in all areas.
    Create reserves of time, money, energy, clients, referrals, love, space, etc. When you operate out of reserve, you have the confidence and presence to attract all the clients you want.
  5. Be Present.
    Live in the moment and be fully present with your clients. Being present allows you to listen for the things your clients really want and then serve them by responding from their agenda.
  6. A Vision of your ideal Practice.
    Knowing exactly what you want in your business allows you to create a practice that is a model for others and a joy for you.
  7. Identify your Ideal clients (WWWH) and work with ONLY those clients.
    Then everyday is filled with your favorite clients.
  8. Make goals that are the action steps to your ideal practice, make a commitment to the goals and be accountable to your commitment.
    Join a study group, hire a professional coach, or report in to your General Agent— set goals and achieve them.
  9. Put the Systems in Place to Run your Business effortlessly.
    Inspire your staff to believe in you and the systems that operate your business.
  10. Have a network that includes your Circle of 10, your community, and all your contacts (business, professional and personal).
    Create fair trade relationships where you give and receive equally.
