Terry is a busy entrepreneur who had lost her heart for her business. She told me she didn't even want to go to her office anymore. I suggested that she throw all her case files out- just toss them all!! She was horrified, and said, “these are important documents!” I said, "If your business isn't any fun anymore, why in this world would you continue to do it?"
Terry and I explored "looking for wonderful" in a coaching meeting. She remembered ‘wonderful’ was when she was painting, so she signed up for a painting class immediately and immersed herself in colors, and brushes, and beautiful vistas. Her instructor is so impressed with her unique and intuitive style that she is entering one of Terry's paintings in an art show. Terry called to tell me, "It was wonderful."
You know what, Terry is enjoying her business and her life again. It is amazing what 30 minutes of wonderful creates.
